I've been sketching since I can remember, even as a small boy growing up in an even smaller village in Ukraine. Because I'm from such a small town, I was always interested in the "bigness" of brands - how something like a tiny white check mark (swoosh) can represent a brand as big as Nike.
That passion followed me to university, where I learned that I was more interested in logos, design and branding than the automobile engineering I was studying. Business greats like Richard Branson and Michael Bierut inspired me to pursue this passion fully. It's led me to work with some amazing brands including Kravitz Design, the Virgin Island Turtle Reserve, Medweise and more.
I now live in Denver, Colorado with my family. I joke that when I'm not working, I'm working. When you love what you do, it's easy to give 110% every day and enjoy it. But, in reality, I do love downtime spending time outdoors, traveling, trying new foods and experiencing different cultures.
I speak three languages - Ukranian, Russian and English. Four, if you count design. Design is my favorite language because it is universally understood. Communication through great design transcends all languages, and that's a really beautiful thing. Building a brand is like working on an art piece that is ever-changing, and a work-in-progress lover like me can't get enough of it.
